Charming Valentine’s Day Retail Displays
And a reminder that Valentine’s Day is Friday, and President’s Day is Monday… ipso facto: Valentine’s Weekend is 4 days long in 2025.
The Valentine’s Day display at Terrain in Westport is romantic and lively.
I love scouting Valentine’s Day retail displays every year. After Christmas decorations come down there just seems to be a colorless void that happens towards the end of January that cheerful Valentine’s Day displays seem to fill so easily. The artful shopping suggestions from Terrain in Westport don’t disappoint.
The romantic natural wood frame over the long table is festooned with sweet retro heart string lights and accented by hand blown glass ornaments. The retro vibe is enhanced by a wallpapered toile background and pretty linens.

Candy Displays too Good to Pass Up
This iron garden urn is filled with a colorful assortment of candies from Sugarfina and is placed next to the checkout stand.
Love that Retro Vibe!

Transitional Color at Rochelle’s in Mystic
The pretty cascade of pink satin bows in the window at Rochelle’s in Mystic make a great transitional impact. The frosted arch had been part of the Christmas display but with the change of a few details the store is transformed for the coming season.
Love is all around at Rochelle’s
As shoppers take in the pretty bows in the window, they are greeted by this soft and welcoming Valentine’s sweater and pajama display.
Lastly, the calendar gives Valentine’s Day a big boost this year. February 14 lands on Friday (TGIV) and the following Monday is President’s Day, making it a great section of time for romantic getaways! Social and blog posts and media pitches that cover topics like “what to pack for a long romantic weekend”, “how to stage a romantic staycation weekend”, “where to stay on a long Valentine’s weekend”… you get the drift :-)
